BEIJING, Jul 27 (PRIME) -- China condemns unilateral sanctions, while cooperation between Moscow and Beijing does not target the third sides and is not influenced by the external factors, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Zhao Lijian said on Wednesday.
"China has normal trade and economic cooperation with Russia based on mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit. It is not aimed against third parties and it is not affected by external interference," the official said.
Bloomberg reported earlier that U.S. Senator Marco Rubio suggested sanctions against any firm that insures or registers tankers carrying oil or liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia to China.
